Gimme Your Eyes (choice)

EM

Looked down from a broken sky
C
Traced out by the city lights
G
My world from a mile high
D/F
Best seat in the house tonight
EM
Touched down on the cold black tile
C
Hold on for the sudden stop
G
Breath in the familiar shock
D/F D
Of confusion and chaos
EM C
Are those people going somewhere?
G D
Why have I never cared?

Chorus:
EM
Give me your eyes for just one second
C
Give me your eyes so I can see
G
Everything that I keep missing
D/F
Give me your love for humanity
EM
Give me your arms for the broken hearted
C
The ones that are far beyond my reach
G
Give me your heart for the once forgotten
( D )
Give me your eyes so I can see
EM
yeah
C
yeah
G
yeah
D/F
yeah

Step out on a busy street
See a girl and our eyes meet
Does her best to smile at me
To hide whats underneath
Theres a man just to her right
Black suit and a bright red tie
To ashamed to tell his wife
He's out of work
He's buying time
Are those people going somewhere?
Why have I never cared?

Chorus

Ive Been there a million times
A couple of million eyes
Just moving past me by
I swear I never thought that I was wrong
Well I want a second glance
So give me a second chance
To see the way you see the people all alone

Chorus (x2)

Resources for current sermon series

Answers in Genesis - Creation, Evolution, Christian Apologetics

HCSB Apologetics Study Bible for Students
Hard Questions, Straight Answers
Click here for a larger image

Editor : Sean McDowell

Like the acclaimed Apologetics Study Bible that has sold 115,000+ copies, the Apologetics Study Bible for Students will anchor younger Christians in the truths of Scripture by equipping them with thoughtful and practical responses for whenever the core issues of their faith and life are challenged.

Multiple research studies have shown that spiritual focus often weakens among teenagers as they head into the attention-dividing realm of young adulthood. Up to 66% of them leave church altogether. The Apologetics Study Bible for Students works against that trend by helping this audience begin to better articulate its beliefs. In addition to the complete HCSB text and dozens of articles collected from today’s most popular youth leaders, including general editor Sean McDowell, this new study Bible also includes:

- Two-color design-intensive layout on every page for the visual generation
- Sixty “Twisted Scriptures” explanations
- Fifty “Bones & Dirt” entries (archaeology meets apologetics)
- Fifty “Notable Quotes”
- Twenty-five “Tactics” against common anti-Christian arguments
- Twenty “Personal Stories” of how God has worked in real lives
- Twenty “Top Five” lists to help remember key apologetics topics

Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution

I, II & III

an International Telly Award-winning series

T
his high-quality series enters the fascinating world of animals to reveal sophisticated and complex designs that shake the traditional foundations of evolutionary theory. An evolutionary scientist comes face-to-face with exciting and clear evidence of Divine design in nature, and becomes an ardent Creationist. Beautiful and fascinating photography. Wonderful for the whole family, these films are easy to understand and uses non-technical language.

Featuring Dr. Jobe Martin, who for the past 20 years, has been exploring evolution vs. creation. His finding have been fascinating students around the world as he lectures on these remarkable animal designs that cannot be explained by traditional evolution.

Dr. Martin was a traditional evolutionist, but as he studied animals, his scientific and medical training was revolutionized as he studied animals that challenged the scientific assumption of evolutionism.

Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution presents powerful evidence that proves that animal designs can only be attributed to a creator. They cannot possibly be explained by evolution. This film will inspire you to look more closely at the world around you.
